Kerkhof island,Thousand Island

Kerkhof Island is one of the Thousand Island in Indonesia, it's located at north Java island near Bidadari island.

There is  fort at Kerkhof Island name Martello Fort, this fort was build in 1850 years ago by Dutch, to defend the attack of English army. The surrounding community also mentioned that Kerkhof island as Cemetery island. It is said that some rebels are buried around the castle. One of the rebel is  from the Seven Provincien Ship that against the Dutch in February 1933.

Martello fort was a round fortress made ​​of brick with a replicate fort Mortella in Corsica (an island in the Mediterranean). Kerkhof island was the frontline island of the Dutch defense, to defend the Batavia from the attack of enemy naval that come from the ocean. The guards of this island will monitor the sea area in front of the island and will preach to the Batavia if there is an enemy ship appeared on the horizon.

Bidadari Island,

Bidadari Island is one of the thousand islands archipelago which developed as a marine tourism area. Bidadari Island located on the north of Java Island, Untung Java Urban Village, South of Thousand Island District, it's about 20 minutes from Marina Ancol Harbor or 35 minutes from Tanjung Pasir Harbor with speedboat.

At Bidadari island there are remains of the Dutch colonial era in 1786 such as the fortress and several cannons that are used to fight with the British state at the time. The specialty of the Bidadari island, among others, more than 60 percent of the Bidadari island consists of rare plants such as the tree of peace Trees (baringtonia exelsa), billowing trees, sentigi trees (pempis acidula), ebony trees (Diospyros maritama), glodokan trees, some plants fruit, as well as mangrove forests are well maintained.

Bidadari island has a natural white sand beaches with sea water is clean and clear. In addition to its beautiful beaches, Bidadari island also has a lizard community (veranus salvator) free-living and community Scaly-breasted falcon (halias indus) which is a nearly extinct bird species in the world and protected.
